Progesterone in Milk

Progesterone concentrations in milk can be used to monitor the onset of puberty, postpartum ovarian activity, oestrous cycles and pregnancy in domestic animals.

Assay features;
antibody (monoclonal anti-progesterone) coated solid-phase (96 well plate);
enzyme (peroxidase) conjugate as label;
colour developed using TMB as substrate and read at 450 nm in elisa reader;
standard range from 1 nmol/L to 40 nmol/L
